The ratio of patients is 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekends may be required as needed. Candidates must undergo a cardiac dysrhythmia test and a moderate sedation test on the first day of orientation. Failure to pass these tests will result in the inability to continue. Candidates with recent experience using electronic health records are preferred. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with conditions such as respiratory failure and sepsis. Special equipment includes mechanical ventilation systems.
