Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience; travel experience may count
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring skills
• Ability to successfully complete safeMedicate testing during orientation
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must be comfortable floating to similar patient care units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes and clinical updates
• Assess patients, develop care plans, and document nursing interventions accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Float to related units as assigned while maintaining strong clinical standards and professionalism
• Complete required competency assessments, ECG recognition requirements, and orientation modules on time
• Support a patient-centered environment with adaptability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
