- Experience must be from a hospital setting
- Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required
Description:
Registered Nurse position in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
The role involves monitoring patients at risk for seizures.
The position may require floating to other units to care for similar patient populations.
Shifts rotate between day and night, with flexibility required to meet operational needs.
Candidates need to provide proof of 18 months of combined experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
Travel experience will be considered acceptable.
A permanent state license or a compact state license must be held at the time of application.
All certifications must be active and submitted at the time of application.
The traveler must work at least every other holiday.
During the orientation period, ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be conducted.
An acceptable score on both assessments is necessary to continue in the position.
Nurses are exempt from certain nicotine-free requirements.
A negative drug screening, including nicotine, is required within 12 months prior to starting the assignment.
Modules may be required, and specific hours may be designated for annual training.
All candidates must comply with background check requirements.
