Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

  • Shift:12-hour Days — 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Schedule:Every other weekend + every other holiday
  • Guaranteed Hours:36 hours/week
  • EMR:Cerner
  • Floating:Required — may float to other adult Med/Surg units
  • Experience:1–2 years acute-care RN experience
  • Certifications:AHA BLS required
  • Unit:15-bed Med/Surg unit primarily caring for post-surgical patients, including Ortho, Urology, GYN/Oncology, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Plastics, and GI; also accepts acute medical patients.
  • Patient Ratios:1:4–5 days / 1:5–6 nights
  • Telemetry: Yes; GE telemetry with remote technicians monitoring strips
  • Drips: May titrate Heparin; occasional Nitro, Cardizem, and Insulin
  • Respiratory: CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen; no ventilators
  • Call:None
  • Scheduling: No self-scheduling; block scheduling based on staffing
  • License:Must have license in hand to submit
  • Trauma Level:Level II
  • Local Radius:80 miles — candidates living within 80 miles are considered local, and local is a decreased rate
