Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Resource Pool (Med Surg/Tele)

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients in a Telemetry unit, focusing on both medical-surgical and telehealth needs. This role involves collaborating with an inter-professional team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate accurate nursing diagnoses.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies and clinical interventions.
• Coordinate patient education to promote health maintenance and effective disease management.
• Participate in triage and respond to patient needs across all phases of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and maintain compliance with administrative rules in the state of practice.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to 3 twelve-hour night shifts each week, with expectations to work every other weekend and holiday.

Additional Information

Standard scrubs in navy blue are required for this role.
