Location: Bloomington, IN 47408

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days – 4x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Block Scheduling Available
• Every Other Weekend
• Floating Required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience
• Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers not accepted)
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Active IN RN License, Compact License, or Temporary IN License (must be in hand by start date)
• Cerner charting experience required
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, LTAC, and Trauma experience preferred
• Local candidates not accepted
• Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Overflow Unit.
• Care for patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses while maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, manage telemetry monitoring, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float to other units based on staffing needs.
• May be required to provide Charge Nurse coverage based on operational needs (training and support provided).
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas); holiday RTO for these periods cannot be accommodated.
