Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Telemetry- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Telemetry- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state license if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years of telemetry experience required
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
