**Join Our Team as a Med Surg RN!**
Job Description:
- **Position Overview:**
- Plan and provide total patient care using the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
- Direct and guide patient teaching and assist ancillary personnel
- Maintain professional nursing standards
- **Qualifications:**
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Iowa RN license
- BCLS & ACLS certifications required
- Experience preferred, but not necessary
- **Shift Information:**
- Full-time night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- Every third weekend coverage with rotating holiday responsibilities
- **Health Requirements Checklist:**
- Resume
- Two recent employment references
- Verification of licensure or certification with expiration date and disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date
- BLS & ACLS certification (American Heart Association) - copy of both sides of the cards
- Immunizations required, including:
- MMR (2 doses or positive titers)
- Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
- Polio
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
- Current TDaP (within 10 years)
- Flu vaccination (during flu season)
- Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold (within 1 year)
- Proof of physical (within 1 year)
- 10 Panel Drug Screen (within 1 month)
- Respiratory Fit Test (within 1 year, available if needed)
- Criminal Background Check (for all states licensed in the past 7 years, within 30 days)
- National &/or State Sex Offender Registry check
- GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov check (within 30 days)
- OIG check (within 30 days)
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
- Completion of CareLearning education modules (further instructions will be provided)

- **Minimum Years of Experience:** Less than 1 year
