Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Castro Valley, California.

Job Description & Requirements

The traveler will float among multiple Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units within their scope of practice.

This position is ideal for an adaptable RN who is comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients across multiple MS/Tele environments and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Active California RN License
BLS and ACLS – AHA or ARC accepted
NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
MS/Telemetry experience
Epic charting experience required
Telemetry experience
Previous Charge RN experience: 2 years preferred/required per facility profile
Trauma Level II experience required
Community hospital experience preferred
Travel experience: not required
Prior LTAC experience: not required

Patient & Staffing Details

Patient ratio: 1:5 on days, nights, and weekends
Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
Float: Required among applicable MS/Tele units within scope
Call: None
Weekend coverage: Required
