Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role includes working night shifts with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, providing essential care in a telemetry unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
  • Must possess a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Shift Information

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Work schedule: 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
