Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. This position involves floating between multiple locations as needed to meet patient care requirements.

Job Functions

• Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism, utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards.
• Develop, implement, and continuously reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures while ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Evaluate and modify discharge plans as necessary, addressing educational needs and other changes.
• Accurately document care, assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses.
• Collect essential patient information to foster safe and high-quality care.
• Conduct holistic assessments of patient status, responding appropriately to changes.
• Determine and complete necessary nursing actions to achieve care goals across physical, psychological, and rehabilitative domains.
• Provide timely health education to patients, families, and significant others, along with relevant written materials.
• Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise non-licensed assistive personnel in care delivery.
• Engage in performance evaluation and improvement processes with management.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State or Compact RN Licensure required.
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Adhere to applicable policies and standards, and comply with the Washington Nurse Practice Act.
• Be prepared to float between various units and locations as needed, specifically between rehabilitation and medical/surgical units.
