Experience with telemetry units. Strong ortho/neuro skills. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a float position in the MS/Tele specialty. This role requires working three 12-hour night shifts each week. The nurse will float between all acute care and telemetry units. Experience in ortho, neuro, and cardiac telemetry is essential. Strong time management skills are necessary as the shifts may be split between units. Travelers are required to work all scheduled shifts and cannot accommodate specific scheduling requests. The position includes a mandatory fill-in-the-blank pass/fail test during orientation. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Each nurse will be assigned a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Every other weekend coverage is required. The float position will involve working with a culturally diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Floating within the hospital is expected, with potential shifts of 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another. Candidates must be open to floating to various acute care units, including specialty areas. This position involves high-volume experience with peripheral nerve catheters.
