Travel Med Tele RN — Nights

Join a 24-bed inpatient Med Tele unit that also cares for observation and day surgery patients. This opening is for 12-hour nights, 7 p.m.–7 a.m. The night ratio is approximately 1:6 after 11 p.m.; LPNs are available until 11 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of acute care Med-Surg or Med Tele experience
• AHA BLS; ACLS preferred
• Basic telemetry rhythm knowledge and comfort starting IVs
• Willingness to float to comparable units and patient assignments

Experience with TURP/continuous bladder irrigation, critical access hospitals, or Level III/IV trauma settings is preferred. Common patients include COPD, sepsis, cellulitis, UTIs, pacemaker patients, and postoperative orthopedic and general surgery patients.

Scheduling: Every other weekend, including the Friday–Sunday rotation; 2 of 3 holidays. Call or standby is possible. Block scheduling is not guaranteed. Travelers may be assigned as relief charge.

Orientation: Day 1 includes computer training and shadowing; day 2 is a 12-hour unit orientation shift.
