Description:
Travelers can have one of three major holidays off and must work two holidays (eve/day).
Required to work all scheduled shifts; scheduling requests outside of approved time off cannot be accommodated.
No time off on Christmas is permitted.
Patient ratios are 1:4-5.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Weekend requirements include working every other weekend.
Flexibility is requested for scheduling.
Pending licenses are accepted.
Travel pairs are preferred to be avoided.
Experience with orthopedic and neuro stroke, cardiac telemetry is required.
The facility seeks nurses with strong time management skills.
Charting is done in a specific electronic medical record system.
Travelers will float as necessary to meet facility needs.
Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various services.
The patient population is culturally diverse, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
The acute care float pool includes all acute care and telemetry units.
Floating may involve working in different areas within a single shift.
Candidates are expected to have experience on telemetry units.
Compliance with training and certification requirements is mandatory.
References are required at the time of submission.
Modules are non-billable and completed pre-start.
Travelers must disclose any hits during background checks.
