Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Medical Surgical care for night shift positions. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing medical treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support across various Medical Surgical units.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician orders.
  • Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Float to different Medical Surgical units as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
  • Telemetry experience is required.
  • Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
  • Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
  • Candidates must have their own vehicle for transportation.
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as required.

Personal scrubs of any color are required for this position.
