Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and creativity in clinical decision-making, incorporating all phases of the nursing process. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direct patient care, conducting nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, discharges, patient education, and individualized treatment planning. The unit specializes in ortho/neuro/telemetry.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• ADN or ASN degree.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.
• Previous nursing experience.
