Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry Night-shift nursing position for an assignment beginning 11/23/2026 and ending 02/22/2027. The role supports medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring, with an expectation of flexibility across medical-surgical units and participation in weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed. Block scheduling is not available.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of current medical-surgical experience; telemetry experience; willingness to float to any medical-surgical unit; completion of a basic dysrhythmia course strongly preferred; Massachusetts registered nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Required certifications and licensure must be active and provided with the profile.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech Expanse experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6, with unit size ranging from 20 to 34 beds. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted. Required submission materials include a work history, a medical-surgical skills checklist current within one year, one signed supervisory reference from the past two years of employment, and the required Massachusetts license and certifications.
