Description:
The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
The average daily census for the unit is approximately 40 patients.
The unit admits adults focusing on orthopedics, general surgeries, and medical-surgical patients requiring insulin drips.
Patient care involves management of various conditions including stroke and respiratory issues.
The nurse will utilize telemetry for monitoring patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
The role requires the administering of medications and managing patient pathways.
The nurse will be assistive in achieving optimal patient recovery and comfort.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
This position involves floating to other areas as necessary.
