Cardiovascular Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse for a position in Cardiovascular Telemetry. The role requires a strong background in telemetry, post-operative catheter care, and cardiac management. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions during the night shift.

Position Details

Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH with Cerner experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Telemetry, with 3 years preferred
Preferred Skills: Ability to manage dysrhythmias, interpret dysrhythmias, and administer cardiac drips with titration
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac catheterizations/stenting
Patient Population: Adults with cardiovascular issues

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 37
Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Equipment: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defibrillators, EKG machines
EHR: Omnicell, EPIC

Additional Information

The ideal candidate should possess a professional demeanor and a passion for providing compassionate care to patients. Candidates are expected to float within designated units as necessary, excluding M3, and assist in the Emergency Room as needed.
