Description:
Registered Nurse position in a Medical Specialty Unit.
The shift is 3 nights per week from 18:45 to 07:15.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
Candidates with one year of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry are welcome to apply.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend requirements include eight shifts within a six-week schedule, with a combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
All licensed individuals may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments may be assigned as needed.
Post-cath patients will require specialized care.
This is a community hospital with 240 staffed beds, including a 16-bed ICU.
Interdisciplinary support includes various therapy services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.
The unit serves adult and geriatric patient age groups, with a daily census of around 30 patients.
Special procedures may be indicated based on patient diagnoses, including surgeries and medical evaluations.
Required skills include telemetry monitoring, managing ports, blood product administration, central line care, and more.
Training for specific equipment and protocols will be provided upon hire.
All candidates must be committed to fulfilling the terms of their contract.
