Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry- Manage and provide care for a caseload of patients with respiratory, cardiac, and GI systems issues, as well as potential ortho patients.
- Work within a "team" consisting of an RN, LPN, and PCT for up to 9 patients, adjusting to "modified teams" as necessary.
- Float to other med/surg units as required.
- Utilize EPIC for patient charting.
- Participate in special procedures and deliver care aligned with patient diagnoses and the care delivery model.
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry- Current NY state RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with EPIC charting system
