Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
- Location: Reno, NV
- Schedule: Days shift, 3x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; BLS, ACLS certifications; must pass a telemetry competency exam covering identifying and measuring telemetry rhythms strips; 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
- Additional Responsibilities: May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level; expected to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period; schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
- Additional Information: Position provides optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process; involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; coordinates with other healthcare professionals; demonstrates cognitive and psychosocial skills specific to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations; requires ongoing growth and learning; involves diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems; provides comprehensive nursing services including their families/caregivers; intensive mental effort is required to deliver safe patient care.
