Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
The unit consists of 96 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-6.
Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, PNA, and General Surgical cases.
RNs are required to titrate drips, including Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids.
Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are available.
Nurse aides are present on the unit with ratios of 1:8-16.
All RNs are responsible for monitoring telemetry capabilities and validating strips.
Shifts are 12 hours, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Weekend and holiday coverage will be determined based on unit needs.
No call or standby requirements are in place.
RNs may float within their scope as needed.
Scrub color/dress code is navy top and bottom.
