Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) needed in the healthcare organizations facility. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment from admission to discharge.
Job Details
- Certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS
- Education Requirements: Valid CA RN License, CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience, including patient ratio experience of 5 for adults and geriatrics, charting system experience preferred (Epic), and travel experience required
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required, with potential to float to other units within scope of practice, including additional campuses depending on need and census
- Responsibilities include managing patient care using the nursing process, responding to medical and environmental emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and utilizing necessary clinical skills such as managing ports, ventilators, IVs, and wound care
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to complete labs within 35 days of contract signing and provide 7-year work history verification with all compliance documents due 10 days before start date
