Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current nursing license to practice as an RN in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience is required; two years preferred.
  • Specialty certification in relevant areas is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required upon hire or within six months.

Shift Information

This position includes three 12-hour night shifts per week, with the possibility of on-call duties.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule.
