Description:
RN MS/Tele Float position available.
Start timeline is 3-4 weeks based on compliance.
There are biweekly start dates for this role.
Patient ratios are 1:5-6 for Day and Weekend shifts.
Night shift patient ratio is 1:6.
First-timers are accepted for this position.
Weekend requirement is every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
There is a holiday rotation obligation.
Required certifications include BCLS and ACLS.
IV start and Telemetry skills are necessary.
Experience floating to various medical units is required.
Nurses will float to medical, surgical, oncology, renal, and neuro units.
There is no on-call requirement for this role.
Staff will be assigned to units based on needs communicated before the shift.
Workers must call in up to 1 hour before the scheduled shift to receive their assignment.
This position does not accommodate block scheduling.
Travelers must not have more than 7 days of time off within a 13-week contract.
Lift device training will be provided.
Team includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
The daily patient census varies from 28 to 50 depending on the specific unit.
This position may require using various specialized equipment such as bladder scanners.
Nurses will be working with adult and geriatric patients.
Compliance deadlines and training details are essential and must be adhered to.
