Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide patient-centered nursing care, conduct assessments, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, coordinate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer treatments and monitor patient responses.
- Recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Delegate appropriate tasks and monitor completion of patient care activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Kentucky RN license or applicable state RN license.
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous nursing experience preferred; no minimum experience required.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
