The role may involve floating to other units as necessary. This position is situated within a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds. The unit supports a variety of interdisciplinary services, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Registered Nurses are responsible for managing a patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse on nights and weekends. Candidates should possess skills in accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and telemetry monitoring. Experience in managing dysrhythmias, wound care, and intravenous care is preferred.
