Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. The RN will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications and treatments, assess patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Active California RN license.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience using the Philips telemetry monitoring system.
- Must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Orthopedic nursing experience.
- Acute care nursing experience.
- PCRN or CCRN certification.
- Critical care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal findings.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support staffing needs by floating to other UCSF facilities when required.
Travel MS/Telemetry RN needed at UCSF Stanyan in San Francisco for 12-hour night shifts. Requires an active CA RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, 2+ years of MS/Tele experience, and Philips telemetry system experience. Must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities; orthopedic and critical care experience preferred.
