Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification, GRH CPI/MOAB Must-Have: - Telemetry experience required - EPIC EMR Experience in a like unit within the last 12 months - Ability to self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance - Basic Dysrhythmia test out must be passed during the assignment Description: Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provide high-quality care to various patient populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, psychiatric, and telemetry. Telemetry ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/surg ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Floating to non-critical care inpatient units may be required. This includes potential floating to behavioral health and emergency departments if boarded patients are present. If the traveler has critical care experience, floating to CCU or ICU may occur. While not part of a regular call rotation, the traveler may be placed on call during low census periods. If called in, timely arrival on-site is expected within one hour.
