Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years License: Required RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA only) Must-Have: Epic experience Description: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Candidates must possess two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Epic experience is required. BLS certification (AHA only) is mandatory. The position involves caring for general care patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Nurses will work in a collaborative environment with state-of-the-art technology and a strong interdisciplinary team. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes. Collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care. The unit has a daily census of 24 and offers a comprehensive approach to patient care. Common patient diagnoses include COPD, heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, infections, and mental status changes. Advanced medical equipment and protocols are utilized, including telemetry monitoring and wound care management. Travelers are required to float as needed. Additional support services include physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy.
