Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night
Schedule: 3 - 12 hour shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Document patient assessments and care activities in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
MUST possess a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
