Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult

Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit. This position is essential in providing high-quality nursing care to patients dealing with various health conditions, including post-operative recovery and chronic illnesses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Ensure all nursing practices align with established policies and standards for quality care.
  • Participate in weekend rotations and be available for call duties as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Shift Information

  • 12-hour day shifts, including weekend rotation.
  • Participation in a call rotation with one call shift every two weeks may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry nursing.
  • Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Proof of current flu vaccination, with no exemptions allowed.
