Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse (RN) position in an acute care setting. This role involves providing patient care on a 32-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit, handling post-surgical and medical overflow cases, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and titration of drips. The position begins on 11/09/2026 and runs through 02/08/2027.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS and ACLS certifications, WA or Compact license, at least 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry care.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Care for post-surgical patients including general, orthopedic, urological, and gynecologic cases, with medical overflow; monitor telemetry; read and validate strips; manage titratable drips such as Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids; coordinate with charge nurses and house supervisors; provide coverage during major holidays and weekends; floating within scope may be required.
  • Additional Information: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including Christmas. The unit is telemetry capable with 16 beds, and monitored by off-site techs for strip validation. Orientation includes 1-2 shifts with onboarding.
