Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions, coordinates direct patient care activities, and provides patient and family-centered education. Responsibilities include conducting nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, discharges, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS certification.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.

• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.
• 
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous nursing experience.

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

  
  Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
