Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is based in an acute care environment that specializes in stroke and complex telemetry patient care. The role involves performing neurological assessments, monitoring telemetry rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and compliance with stroke care protocols. This position requires working day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience in reading rhythm strips, ability to perform neurological assessments, and experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health record systems, prior stroke or telemetry unit experience, additional certifications in stroke care or telemetry.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
