**Job Description:**

- Join our dynamic team and take part in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med-Surg and Telemetry unit.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and set priorities for care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to enhance patient well-being.
- Manage patient care effectively while maintaining exceptional standards.
- Document care in accordance with established standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support the adoption of innovative care delivery methods.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practices.
- Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
- Strong expertise in Med-Surg/Telemetry care.
**Educational Qualifications:**
- Required Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
**Certifications & Licensure:**
- Required Certifications:
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Telemetry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Contact Stroke (4 hours)
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
**Schedule Notes:**
- Shift: 7a-7p (2 days), 7p-7a (1 day)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other or as needed
- Float Requirement: Yes
