Required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current acute care experience in the specialty, worked consistently within the last 12 months
- BLS/BCLS
- EPIC experience
- Valid compact or state RN license in hand at submission
- Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
- Ability to float to other Med Surg Oncology units
- 2 professional references:
- At least 1 manager/director/formal leadership reference
- Charge RN acceptable as the second reference
- Coworker references not accepted

- Oncology experience
- Previous travel experience

Unit Information
- Unit: 19 James Med Surg Oncology
- Beds: 36
- Daily Census: 36
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Common Diagnoses: Breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon and esophageal cancers; sickle cell crises; chemotherapy-related admissions
- Monitoring: Continuous cardiac monitoring/GE telemetry
- Equipment: GE telemetry monitors, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps
- Float: Other Med Surg Oncology units
- Weekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needs
Schedule & Compliance
- RTO must be submitted with the profile and built into the contract
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after signing
- Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday before start
- Only one location submission permitted
- Current Ohio State University employees are ineligible for travel assignments at OSU hospital locations
- Former employees must be away from the facility for at least 6 months before becoming eligible for travel
