The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit. An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests is required during orientation. Travel candidates will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments. Compliance with annual educational modules is needed. Candidates should be prepared for a negative drug screen, including nicotine. References must come from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, completed within the last 12 months. All required certifications must be active and in hand prior to submission. Candidates may extend their contract for a period of 18 months, with a required break afterward. Additional requirements may be imposed by the facility based on their standards.
