Description: 2 years of current experience required. Meditech EMR experience is necessary. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. An active Kentucky or compact nursing license is mandatory. Floating within scope of practice is required. You must work every other weekend. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted. Medical and religious exemptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted. Patient ratios may fluctuate with census and call-ins. No RTO edits are accepted once an offer has been made. No timecard edits are accepted once the pay period closes. Orientation is bi-weekly. A driver's license is required for all submission documents. The address on the driver's license should match the permanent address provided. Travelers must not be submitted for more than one position at a time. Experience of 2 years in the specialty is required to be considered. Availability for an 84-hour schedule every two weeks is necessary. You must work either a major or minor holiday. References: 2 references are required; 1 charge or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both must be from within the last year. A copy of certifications is required for submission. Compliance checks must be submitted up front. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return.
