Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 23, 2026
Location: Canton, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Holiday rotation required (at least every other holiday).

Requirements:
- Active and permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of application (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- 12 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty required
- Current Epic EMR experience required
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications (active and in hand)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty (from assignments within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
- Clean background check with no open cases and no license hits
- Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
