Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Surg 5 South unit, specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele). This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Position Details

• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 hours (20:00 - 08:30)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Patient Age Range: Adults to Geriatrics
• Scrub Color: Navy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Current RN license in the relevant state.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care strategies.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.

Scheduling

• Must be available to work holidays as they occur, assigned in advance.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• Floating may be required within the specialty to accommodate lower acuity patients as needed.
