Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week in a Float Pool setting. Float assignments within the organization as needed. Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Some holidays required. Patient ratio 1:5.

Requirements:
- Current Ohio RN license or valid compact license in hand at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
- Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring (required skills)
- Epic charting experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Preferred Skills:
- Blood product administration, central line care/management, BiPAP/CPAP management
- Heparin and IV insulin protocols
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration)
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
- Pre/post neurosurgery and hemodialysis management
- Tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac experience
- High flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and non-invasive airway management
