Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night schedule every 4 weeks (same shift for 4 consecutive weeks, then rotate to opposite shift). Every other weekend (Friday & Saturday) required. Float coverage within the facility system as needed.

  • Specialized medical-surgical/telemetry unit caring for diverse patient populations including oncology, surgical, respiratory, and infectious disease diagnoses
  • Strong focus on cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV insulin management
  • Secure unit environment with dedicated corrections officer access and support
  • Charting system experience required; training provided during orientation
  • First-time travelers welcome with 1 year of relevant experience (subject to manager review)

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical and telemetry experience
  • Previous telemetry experience with strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
  • Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
  • 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
  • Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
  • Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start date
