Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS
Must-Have: Charge experience, drip experience required, willingness to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice
Description:
This is an adaptive acuity unit.
Travelers will be asked to provide PCU care on occasion, which includes a 3:1 patient ratio.
This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused.
Drip experience is required, with experience in insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips.
Charge experience is required for this position.
Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted upon profile upload.
Requests made after upload or during the interview process will not be approved.
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, with fewer days preferred.
Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled.
These include Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, as well as Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day.
Travelers must ensure they can be reached and have voicemails set up on their phones.
Travelers without voicemail will be redirected when a facility reaches out.
Uploads of travelers who wish to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment will not be accepted.
Travelers should not request scheduling accommodations.
All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
Profile requirements include a work history, skills checklist for Progressive Care Unit, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry, current to one year, and one supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment.
