Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience, Charge experience required, Progressive Care Unit experience strongly required, Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required License: Current RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Charge experience, drip experience required, willingness to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit. Travelers will be asked to provide PCU care on occasion, which includes a 3:1 patient ratio. This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused. Drip experience is required, with experience in insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips. Charge experience is required for this position. Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted upon profile upload. Requests made after upload or during the interview process will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, with fewer days preferred. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled.
