Description:
This position involves working in a Med Surg/Tele Float Pool.
The registered nurse will float to various acute care units throughout the facility.
The role includes supporting the emergency department by caring for patients awaiting bed placement.
When support is not needed in the emergency department, the nurse will be assigned to other inpatient units.
The nurse is required to work rotating day and night shifts.
The nurse-to-patient ratios may vary based on staffing needs.
Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.
Additional support will be provided as necessary.
All nurses are expected to adhere to safety protocols and standards of care.
This position offers a maximum of 10 RTO days approved per contract.
RTO is restricted during specified holiday periods.
Candidates are encouraged to reach out for flexibility regarding hard-to-fill positions.
Completion of facility-specific modules is required within the first week of assignment.
Candidates must check their facility email regularly and maintain communication with unit leaders.
