Description:
The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will start and manage IVs.
They will safely administer medications.
Monitoring vitals and patient responses is essential.
Educating patients on treatments and self-care is required.
Collaboration with the care team on patient plans is expected.
Utilization of electronic medical record systems for charting is necessary.
Floating to lower acuity units may be needed as required.
Following hospital policies and maintaining patient safety is critical.
Additional Requirements:
Experience in patient ratio management is necessary.
Skills in chest tube management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and isolation precautions are beneficial.
Involvement in the management of dysrhythmias and use of rapid response teams is preferred.
Experience with medication administration through various methods is an asset.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to patient care.
Compliance with fingerprinting processes is mandatory for all candidates.
Two professional references are required, with at least one from a supervisor.
