Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
This unit handles a variety of post-operative patients requiring overnight stays.
Common patient surgeries include prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, and thyroidectomy.
Drips administered on this unit include Heparin.
The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.
The traveler will be required to work during winter holidays, covering two out of three major holidays.
Limit of one day off request will be accommodated between specified holiday ranges.
