**Join Our Dynamic Team as an RN Med/Surg!**
**Job Description:**
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients using scientific nursing principles.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, IV) and meticulously record all actions.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment care needs.
- Accurately record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective actions for adverse patient symptoms.
- Deliver bedside care for a diverse range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgical individuals.
- Start IVs, change dressings, and insert catheters as required.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Respond effectively to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols.
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure effective time management.
- Document all care information concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Undertake additional position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.
**Requirements:**
- Current ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
- Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Flexibility to float between campuses as required.
- Ability to care for pediatric/adolescent patients as the facility may not have a dedicated pediatric unit.
- Completed SageWest coversheet is required.
